We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods. The cantonal retention regulations apply to medical records (generally at least ten years). Once the relevant periods have expired, the data is deleted or anonymized.
This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA (Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Geneva, Switzerland). Infomaniak operates its data centers in Switzerland. The website is based on WordPress with the Elementor design plugin. In regular operation, these systems process technical connection data on our own server at Infomaniak.

We use the arzt-direkt service (Zollsoft GmbH, Vor dem Kreuzberg 28, 72070 Tübingen, Germany) to record patient forms (in particular medical history information). The data entered via the form - including health data - is transmitted to arzt-direkt. Zollsoft acts as a processor. As far as health data is concerned, the processing is based on your consent. We use Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland; group headquarters in the USA) to process the down payment for online bookings. When you make a payment, the data required for this - namely your name, e-mail address, means of payment and transaction-related information - is transmitted directly to Stripe. Medical consultations are conducted as video consultations via Zoom (Zoom Video Communications, Inc., 55 Almaden Boulevard, 6th Floor, San Jose, CA 95113, USA). When participating in a video consultation, technical connection data and the content exchanged during the conversation (image, sound, chat) are processed. Zoom acts as a processor. We use the Swiss service HIN (Health Info Net AG, Pflanzschulstrasse 3, 8400 Winterthur, Switzerland) for the transmission of sensitive data - in particular health data.
